“At this museum, touching the art is not allowed! But that doesn’t mean the art has to stay still…”

“No touching the art!” commands the giant red sign as a girl and her classmates line up to enter the art museum. While the teacher guides her small group to look at the various famous paintings, the little girl stands apart, uninterested. That is, until something magical begins to happen…. Told only through pictures, Mayhem at the Museum by Luciano Lozano is a humorous introduction to art history and art appreciation.
The copyright in the back contains the names of all the paintings that appear in the picture book. I do wish there was a section in the back that contained pictures of the actual paintings along with a small description and maybe a fun fact. This book, however, was an entertaining introduction to art.
